Realme is truly wooing the millennials, year after year!
May 6 2019: In an already established market such as mobile phones, it is challenging for a new brand to survive. More so if the brand is banking on the most popular aspect of a phone to differentiate itself from competition. In the case of Realme, it is good camera performance, with other specs to support its value proposition of good looking phones at affordable prices.
When the brand made its way into India, just over a year back, the message was clear: Sleek and stylish design that will reel in audiences and a small range of models that stand out from the crowd.
A few months back it wooed millennials with the Realme 2 Pro. For its combo of style and substance, we called it Student of the Year. Realme has now done an encore with Realme 3 Pro. Powered by a Snapdragon 710 processor, with a 4045 mAh battery and a VOOC 3.0 flash charge, it offers Sony IMX 519 16MP + 5MP rear cameras, and a 25MP selfie camera for better, sharper images. Realme claims that this is the first mid-range device ever to support 960fps/720P Super Slow-motion video-shooting for dramatic videos. With increased popularity of mobile gaming, the 3 Pro comes with two technologies that enhance gaming performance -- Touch Boost, that increases touch sensitivity during, and Frame Boost that reduces frame drops.
Realme, has also created something special design-wise. The Realme 3 Pro is inspired by race car tracks at Le Mans and features 82 S-shaped curves on the phone back, running parallel through the fingerprint sensor and rear camera. The gradients provide a unique texture and different lighting effects in different conditions.
Available across online and offline stores, the Realme 3 Pro spells good value at Rs. 13,999 (4 GB + 64 GB) and Rs. 16,999 (6 GB + 128 GB). VISHNU ANAND
