Honor 6X: Dual Lens  camera on budget!

A package of decent battery, dual cameras and performance, the Honor 6X is a stiff competitor in  the budget segment
Bangalore, January 27 2017: Honor, a smart phone manufacturer and a subsidy of Huawei recently released  yet another camera-heavy  device, the Honor 6X in India. The device was launched   globally only 3 weeks ago at CES 2017 in Las Vegas.
Following the likes of the Huawei P9 and Honor 8, this device too  offers a dual lens technology for rear camera, but is meant for the budget conscious. The smart phone comes with a 12 megapixels front  and a 2 megapixels rear camera, where the former enables image composition and the latter helps to get depth of field. Featuring a SONY IMX386 sensor and aperture range between F/0.95-F/16, the camera allows you to adjust the focus point after image capture and also creates a Bokeh effect. It also comes with PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) and different modes like Pro, Graffiti, Splash, etc. The front camera has an 8 megapixels resolution with 77° wide angle lens.
The Honor 6X sports a thin, metal body design with curved edges. It weighs around 162 grams with 8.2mm thickness. We got our hands on this device and felt it was light and easily operable with single hand. The display size is 5.5-inch and comes with 1920p x 1080p full HD display and 403 PPI. It is protected by 2.5 D Corning Gorilla glass.
Powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 655, Octa-Core processor, the device comes in two variants of 3 GB RAM with 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM with 64 GB storage. For operating system, It is supported by Huawei’s EMUI 4.1, which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The company also announced that its EMUI 5.0 with Android 7.0 Nougat is ready in Beta and will be available for upgrade from February.|
The Honor 6X comes with a feature called the Wi-Fi bridge that enables the device to act like a repeater and share your network with four other devices.  It includes a hybrid slot that can accommodate either two SIMs or a single SIM with a memory card. The memory is expandable up to 128 GB via Micro SD card. The device has 4G VoLTE connectivity. It also allows OTG support.  It gives a decent battery life with 3340 mAh and also has fast charging technology.
The Honor 6X would be available from February 2017. The 3 GB plus 32 GB variant is priced at Rs. 12,999 and the 4 GB plus 64 GB variant is priced at Rs. 15, 999.
