The 2011 edition of the official F1 videogame created by Codemasters includes two new entrants -- the Indian circuit and the track at Nurburging, Germany – as well as 17 others, The game-playing embraces the full line-upof 24 F1 drivers including the greats like Sebastian Vettel, Lewis Hamilton, FernandoAlonso, Michael Schumacher and Jenson Button. You can don the tri-colour of Sahara Force India and play the role of drivers Adrian Sutil and Paul Di Resta . Released in High Definition – another first—F1 the game, recreates each circuit from paddock to pit to track, letting players “be the driver, live the life” as they elect to progress from rookie to seasoned F1 professional. The makers have exploited split screens, fully immersive graphics, a choice of atmospheric effects including ultra real rain -- even the nitty gritty of new F1 rules and the ability to adjust the rear wing to provide a boost of up to 10 kmph.
All the iconic cars are there including the Ferrari, the Lotus Renault,  SaharaForce India’s Mercedes, the McLaren…. Formula One teams have been required to build the chassis in which they compete -- and a new play mode in the 2011edition called Co-op Championship allows players to assume the avatar of a driver and constructor and race with them across the entire F1 season. India is hosting its first ever Formula One racing event between October 28 and 30 this year, at the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida,near Delhi. So this game is a timely release for those who want to recreate the F1 magic in their homes.
The current release that is brought to India by Zapak, is aimed at the Windows PC, Xbox360 and Playstation3 games consoles. The makers are also working on editions for handheld devices like smartphones and Tablet PCs to be released later in the year.
