New Delhi, May 2, 2019: Public Affairs Forum of India, country’s premier body for public and corporate affairs professionals, has appointed new office bearers for the year 2019-20.
Raman Sidhu, Chairman, EBG Federation, India (erstwhile European Business Group), has taken over as the new President.  Mr. Sidhu’s career spanned over 3 decades as an Investment Banker & a Corporate Banker. He has also served as an Independent Director on the Boards of various MNCs including G4S & Deutsche Postbank Home Finance as well as PSUs such as BHEL, NHPC, IILFS & NTC. He has served as a Member of the Core Committee on Corporate Governance of 5 of the Ministry of Finance & Corporate Affairs. He has in the past also served as a Consultant to the Industry Minister of Trinidad & Tobago on behalf of the Commonwealth Secretariat, London.   He is a Life Trustee of the Foundation for Aviation & Sustainable Tourism & a Member of the Council of SpeakIn Bureau. He is a Member of the National Executive Committee of FICCI.He takes over the role of President, PAFI, from Dr. K.C. Ravi, Chief Sustainability Officer, Syngenta India Ltd, upon completion of his successful term.
Ishteyaque Amjad, Vice President, Corporate Affairs, Coca-Cola India Pvt Ltd, has taken over as the new Vice President of the organisation. Mr. Amjad served in the Indian Army and then later joined the corporate world. He has worked across infrastructure, technology and FMCG industry.
Subhajyoti Ray President, Internet & Mobile Association of India,is the new Secretary. Before joining IAMAI, Subho was Director for the ICT vertical at the Confederation of Indian Industry in New Delhi, where he worked since 1998, closely with the software & services, BPM, hardware and telecom industries. Dr Ray is a trained historian having read history at the Presidency College, Kolkata and JNU, New Delhi.
Ankhi Das, Public Policy Director – India, South & Central Asia, Facebook India Online Services Pvt. Ltd., is the new Treasurer of PAFI.
