HP names new VP for Asia-Pac Enterprise planning
Suparno Banerjee, VP for HP's Enterprise planning in Asia-Pac-Japan

Suparno Banerjee  has been named vice president of strategy and planning for HP Enterprise Business, Asia Pacific and Japan. Most recently  he was vice president of HP’s global government industry group for five years ( he came to HP with the EDS acquisition) , implementing strategies in outsourcing, infrastructure integration, systems integration and portal development, to drive growth and efficiencies within global government agencies. In his newly role, Suparno  will head strategy, planning, coordination and growth initiatives across all Asia Pacific markets, with a strong focus on cloud computing, services and software solutions. Prior to joining HP, Suparno was a director with Deloitte Consulting’s Federal Practice and government industry leader for IBM, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), where he worked on initiatives with United Nations agencies and various governments in the region.
Banerjee holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s in business administration from the Indian Institute of Management.
