Kolkata, January  23 2019:  Vinaya Varma, 50,  has taken over as Managing Director & CEO of mjunction Services, an equal joint venture of Tata Steel and SAIL, and India’s largest B2B e-commerce company.
Varma has served the company for the last 18 years since its inception in 2001, and his last held position in the company has been that of its CEO. He has been elected Co-Chairman of the CII Eastern Region ICTE Sub-Committee for 2018-19.
He is also an elected member of CII Eastern Regional Council and CII West Bengal State Council for 2018-19 and an elected Member of NASSCOM's Internet, Mobile & e-Commerce Council for 2017-19.
He is an alumni of IIT Kanpur and IIM Calcutta.
