Vikram Anand appointed Director for VMware telecom business in India

Mumbai, September 20 2018: Enterprise software leader, VMware,  has announced the appointment of Vikram Anand as the director for its telecommunications business in India. In his new role, Anand will be leading and managing sales, operations and digital transformation programs for Telecom Service providers.
Based in Mumbai, Anand has extensive experience in the information technology and services industry. Over his 22-year career, he has specialized in automation, cloud, SDN, NFV, IOT, IP MPLS, unified communications and optical transport network (OTN). Anand joins VMware from Cisco, where he was responsible for various leadership and sales management roles covering telecom service providers. In the past, he has worked with Ericsson, Alcatel and Siemens, the pioneers of the telecom network revolution where he developed an acute understanding of this domain.
