US based Advanced Auto Parts opens global centre in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, June 14  2022: Advance Auto Parts, a leading automotive aftermarket parts provider and a Fortune 500 company headquartered in North Carolina,  inaugurated its Global Capability Centre (GCC) in Hyderabad yesterday.
The centre will act as a hub of innovation, providing critical transformational support and automotive solutions across IT, Digital, Finance, and Human Resources, for its North American markets. It was inaugurated by K. T. Rama Rao, Minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development of Telangana, in the presence of Jayesh Ranjan, Secretary, Information Technology (IT); Government of Telangana, Tom Greco, President & Chief Executive Officer, Advance and Mahender Dubba, Managing Director, Advance GCC India.
Advance is one of the largest players in the automotive aftermarket parts industry in North America. With the objective to identify synergies and build shared capabilities to support the company’s growth and transformation, the GCC was strategically set up in Hyderabad, India.
Advance Auto Parts GCC will be the epicenter of shared capabilities with 65,000 sq. ft. office space which employees over 450 employees and 150+ partner resources.As part of the India commitment, the brand will significantly increase its domestic employee base over by 2025.
The facility in Hyderabad is the second largest Software Development Center for Advance Auto Parts in the world and the largest outside of its Headquarters in Raleigh, North Carolina, USA.
