Indian govt  releases guidelines for e-learning against background of Covid shutdown

New Delhi, July 17 2020: The Union Human Resources Development  Ministry has  released  detailed guidelines for  conducting online  digital education in India, under the name: Pragyata.
The guidelines recommend a cap on duration and number of online sessions in a day for students from Class I to XII.. important in the wake of recent controversies about how educational establishments, public and private have been trying to work around the prolonged  Covid-19 related lockdowns in India.
States like Karnataka  have seen local government, ban online classes for very small children.. as well much confusion about the conduct of examinations online.
