Bangalore, September 11 2019:  On the occasion of its annual 3D Experience Forum yesterday,   Dassault Systèmes   shortlisted 3 Indian startups for mentoring and support:
Lucid Implants: founded in 2018 by Dr. Nitin Bhola, Dr Pranav Sapkal and Mr Prashanth Ray  for their custom implant solutions’ in life-science domain. This start-up helps surgeons to predict and to validate a medical device for a specific patient by providing custom polymer and metal hard tissue implants as a bone replacement.  Their total solution seamlessly  integrates virtual surgical planning, intraoperative patient-specific tools, and personalized implants.
Log9Materials: was founded in 2015 by Akshay Singhal and co-founded by Kartik Hajela.  The startup leverages graphene nanotechnology for development of enhanced and commercially viable Aluminum-Air Batteries which would revolutionize energy sector. The company aims to launch these batteries for stationary power generation by 2021 and for electric vehicle applications by 2022.
BrainSight.AI founded by Laina Emmanuel and Rimjhim Agrawal creates AI-based diagnostic tools that can helps psychiatrists to diagnose mental disorders using MRI scans. The AI-powered software empowers doctors with an accurate differential diagnosis within a single day. The tool uses AI-based imaging biomarkers to identify and classify disorders, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and dementia. BrainSight.AI is pilot testing their prototype with two hospital chains, including the largest private hospital chain in India.
Lucid Implants and Log9Material will get a chance to present their innovative idea to the members of the executive committee at Dassault Systèmes at the corporate headquarters in Vélizy, France. Further, they will be accelerated in the  3D Experience lab in India and mentored by Dassault Systèmes experts based in one of its offices around the world.

The competition received over 156 entries in three months. The entries were evaluated in Pune on their offering in disruptive technology, practicing collective intelligence and delivering the most sustainable solution to transform society positively. The top three teams were shortlisted to present here at the 3DEXPERIENCE pitch in the 3DEXPERIENCE Forum.”
Dassault Systèmes has a global legacy of partnering with startups in their journey. Since its inception last year, the 3DEXPERIENCE Lab in Pune has been engaging with startups, mentoring them through technical skills, marketing and communication, and providing an access to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform to accelerate their product development.
