EMC expands its R&D in India with 2nd centre in Pune, after Bangalore

Pune, April 5 2016:  EMC Corporation  has  inaugurated a second R&D centre in Pune, adding to its  Centre of Excellence (COE) in Bangalore.
The additional EMC COE in Pune will help EMC to further advance its mission to help customers transform their business by creating their digital future and modernize, automate and transform IT through cloud computing.

The EMC COE in Punewill play an important role in helping EMC deliver comprehensive, next-generation technology solutions for our customers.”
EMC’s first COEin Bangaloreopened in 2003 to advance the company’s globalization goals, accelerate R&D efforts and expand services by leveraging India’s vast pool of highlyskilled engineering talent. As EMC’s largest R&D centre outside of North America, the EMC COE in Bangalore hosts product, services and support groups across EMC’s offerings. The Pune centre will supplementthe EMC COE in Bangalore with addedcapabilities to undertake additionalR&D and Services work for cloud and storage technologies.
The new EMC COE in Punewill have137000 square feet of usable office space and includes a state-of-the-art ExecutiveBriefing Centre.
