A new ERP tool is unveiled!
Bangalore, February 13, 2015: Five years after launching its flagship in-memory, column oriented relational data base management platform, HANA, SAP has completely remade the solution for a new enterprise environment, where clients need to work seamlessly across multiple screens -- PC, tablet and mobile phone.
SAP S/4 HANA as it is called offers completely new and user friendly interfaces on multiple screens, even while it retains its core in-memory features.
While the development of SAP S/4 HANA was a collaborative project across multiple developmenrt centres, the Bangalore-based SAP Labs India contributed significantly to the core architecture, the Fiori user interfaces, as welll as to the applications and platform for S/4 HANA.

Existing customers of SAP HANA will be offered a migration path to S/4 HANA; provided they are using SAP data bases, engineers explained. They demonstrated the dashboard-look of the new S/4 HANA interfaces which bring a new level of user friendliness to the product.
