Mobile platform Line, notches up 30 million users in India -- in 18 months.

New Delhi, October 18, 2014 – Leading mobile platform LINE, with 560 million global  users, has clocked 30 million registered Line user base in India. May 2013 marked the formal launch of Line  in India.

Line users  enjoy more than 20,000 unique stickers in everyday chat, in addition to the easy-to-use free voice and video call features that help them stay connected anywhere. Moreover, the company  has introduced localized stickers such as ‘Diwali’ stickers to spice up the Indian users’ chat experience.
In India  Line has tied-up with online sellers such as Groupon and Jabong with rewarding deals and will continue to introduce other valuable partnerships.
Additional 72 LINE family apps such as LINE camera and LINE SnapMovie are available to create trendy photos and videos.  More than 40 dynamic games are available through LINE’s gaming platform.
