New Micromax phone  'gets' your gestures

New Delhi, September 9, 2014:  India’s leading handset player, Micromax,  has launched a new smartphone which answers to smart gestures --the Canvas Nitro A310.

 Fueled by  1.7GHz Tru octa-core processor with a 5-inch HD IPS display, the phone runs on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat. It comes with innovative software features like QuickLook, Smart Alerts, All-in-one camera widget and customized gestures.  With QuickLook, you can get your entire social and news feed displayed together on one screen. With a collage like interface, it offers a variety of choices for the users to choose and display content from, like news from various sources & categories, Facebook news feed, trending tweets and weather information. The smartphone also comes with Smart Alerts enabling the users to view notifications right on the lock screen. By default when there are no notifications, there will be a white digital clock on black background. In case of a notification, a band appears on the screen with individual icons for each notification and the colour of the band reflects the latest notification for applications like SMS, calls, Facebook, Gmail, Whatsapp and Hangouts.
It is equipped with a 13MP Auto Focus rear camera with Flash  and a 5 MP Fixed Focus front camera, will allow users to get the best quality selfies.
