India's first-ever traffic management centre at Bangalore  features  80-ft video wall

Gurgaon, Haryana July 15 2014:   An eighty-foot wide video wall is helping  Bangalore Police manage the city's traffic.   The wall at the  Bangalore Traffic Management Centre -- a first in India -- at Traffic Police headquarters  has been provided by  Delta Displays  in partnership with Pan Intellecom Ltd.
The 83 ft by 11 ft wall will help Bangalore traffic police  manage and respond to traffic woes promptly and investigate incidents causing accidents.

The Traffic Management Centre, a five storey building consists of a huge video wall comprising of 64 Nos. of 70 inches diagonal cubes, and 40 workstations, to simultaneously monitor various parts of the city. Data received is analyzed and acted upon by over 100 traffic engineers at the traffic management centre. The Video wall at the centre will help to manage traffic issues effectively and in real time. Delta offered its Next-Gen LED-lit 70” Video wall aided by Delta’s Icon Pro controller & wall management software.  The Video wall solution with dual-redundant power supply for 24x7 operations and slightest downtime will display the coverage of 179 day night surveillance cameras and 5 enforcement cameras installed across the city signals.

The Traffic Management Centre was inaugurated on 30 December 2013, by Mr. Siddaramaiah, Chief Minister of Karnataka, on Infantry road in Bangalore.
