May 14, 2014:  Cannily gauging  the Indian frenzy for news, as  the results of the general election leading Direct-to-home (DTH) service provider , Tata Sky, is offering a big bouquet of  over 65 news channels free to its subscribers for one week.
The offer  also  includes news channels available on Tata Sky’s  Everywhere TV service  which  will  allow viewing on  smart phones & tablets  as well.
A bouquet of 13 English news channels, 18 Hindi News channels and 38 regional news channels will be offered free this week, irrespective of the pack that the subscriber has opted for. Regional language news channels include Gujarati, Marathi, Punjabi, Bengali, Odia, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.  The news channels are being offered free for duration of 7 days
