Mexico City, Mexico, May 10,  2014: India-headquartered  connected solutions specialist, – Tech Mahindra  has made  its foray into Mexico. 
The company will offer offer an array of innovative solutions and consulting services focused on meeting the needs of customers in various industries such as Telecom, Banking, Energy, Manufacturing, Retail distribution, Insurance and many others. It plans to establish partnerships with local universities, business schools and trade bodies to enable creation of 500 jobs in the next 24 months.
CP Gurnani, MD & CEO, Tech Mahindra, said during the launch event  two days ago: We are excited with the economic growth potential in Mexico and through our real-time, near-shore delivery center at Mexico City; we are committed to the nation and look forward to building and delivering connected solutions going forward”.
Added Sujan R.Chinoy, Ambassador of India to Mexico: “Tech Mahindra is one of India’s leading IT services provider. He pointed to the enormous scope for Indian IT companies in the growing domestic market in Mexico as well as the platform provided by operations in Mexico to enter the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and other markets.”
The launch event was attended by other regional directors of Tech Mahindra, along with some of its customers and  representatives of the National Chamber of the Electronics and Telecommunications Information Technology (CANIETI), an organization that has provided full support to Tech Mahindra.
