CommScope beefs up Goa plant to  produce Systimax cabling

Goa, August 22, 2013— Communications networking leader CommScope has expanded its  production facility in Goa, to include high-performance SYSTIMAX® cabling.
Opened in 1998, the 25,800-square meter facility currently manufactures antenna and transmission cable products for CommScope’s wireless business under the Andrews brand. It also includes an integrated warehouse, distribution and customer support center. The facility now will produce for the first time CommScope’s SYSTIMAX copper cabling, panels and patch cords for its enterprise customers in India. The company also plans to begin manufacturing in Goa its Uniprise cabling.
