Bangalore July 8 2013: The global pioneers of High definition video calling have straddled the desktop and mobile space with UVC ClearSea – an extension of their Universal Video Collaboration solution which now enables mobile video calling. The latest iteration embraces over 50 devices among smartphones, tablets and desktops and recognizes all mobile client systems. When it was introduced last year the LifeSize UVC platform was said to be the world’s most powerful one-button HD video streaming, recording and auto-publishing solution for assessing live and on-demand videos from any location.
In India last week, soon after assuming charge as International Vice President, Andreas Wienold spoke to IndiaTechOnline about the company’s go-to-market strategies in India, led by Deepak Braganza, Country manager for India and South Asia. Key corporate customers in India include the large silk saree outlet chain RmKV and the Mumbai end of Directi, the consumer web products company.
The India end of LifeSize continues to create innovative solutions in the HD digital video space, said Wienold, citing the LifeSize UVC Video Center – providing ubiquitous access to HD-quality video streaming, recording and playback: At the single press of a button, you can record and publish HD-quality video to thousands of viewers so that they see exactly what you want them to see. The Video Center offering was a LifeSize India contributionj from idea to implementation, he said.
The company sees a good opportunity for Video Center in the burgeoning Indian distance education sector. More info here
