HCL bags big order from  Chattisgarh state for laptops

New Delhi, April 19, 2013: HCL Infosystems  has won a big contract from the Government of Chhattisgarh project -  for the   free distribution of laptops to final year engineering and medical students of Government-aided and Private Colleges across the state. This is the first phase of the project, where HCL Infosystems will provide 14000 laptops to the students in different districts comprising of 51 colleges across Chhattisgarh State.

The company will also set up its Service Centres in few districts to offer comprehensive maintenance and handle any service requests. The Specifications of the laptops that will be given to the students includes Intel Dual core processor with 2 GB RAM, 500 GB Hard disk and Wi-Fi among other features.
