New CommScope infrastructure management solution, promises to restore control over your networks

Bangalore, November 15, 2012- Communications networking leader, CommScope, has brought an infrastructure management solution to India, with a Godfather-like 'offer  you  can't refuse' for  IT managers: "We'll help you effectively, optimally, control your networks, rather than having your networks controlling you!" It's called the SYSTIMAX imVision Infrastructure Management solution and provides control over the IT infrastructure with state-of-the-art intelligent management of the physical layer using SYSTIMAX iPatch intelligent panels. The new web-based color touch-screen imVision System Manager 7.0 software platform comes with the new imVision Controller.

The imVision solution allows IT staff to view real-time, end-to-end circuit information during moves, adds and changes using a unique visual “trace while you patch” feature. Technicians and IT managers now have the ability to improve speed and accuracy of connectivity changes to various end devices such as computers and servers, wireless access points, IP phones, IP cameras, network printers, managed switches and PDUs globally from one location.

Says George Brooks, senior vice president, Enterprise Product Line Management, CommScope: “Deploying an intelligent infrastructure in a network is becoming commonplace in the industry because managers want to have fast, easy control over certain aspects of the network including security, process efficiency and energy management. CommScope now offers IT managers a complete solution that provides them a live view of their global network that is accurate and easy to maintain while also preparing them for future network demands.”

The imVision Infrastructure Management Solutionis a part of CommScope’s Living Infrastructureapproach to helping customers design and deploy solutions for their infrastructures. With imVision, customers can design intelligence into their infrastructure and then deploy and evolve their platform to accommodate future changes.
