Springboard launches UI-UX course

Bangalore, March 16, 2020:   Leading workforce upskilling platform Springboard, enters the realm of design education by launching its newest online program in UI/UX design. With design becoming an integral part of digital transformation and technology development, Springboard aims to address the lack of formal end-to-end training and education programs in user interface and user experience design in the country. By launching this industry-first course, Springboard will aid professionals from a cross-section of disciplines to propel themselves into the field of design and interface development. Springboard’s first UI/UX design cohort has launched on March 5, 2020.
The UI/UX Design course is open to anyone with an eye for good visual design. The curriculum spans the entire gamut of design education, from the foundations of design to sketching and wireframing, to prototyping and testing. Notably, learners will be able to learn both UI and UX to build a versatile skill set required by the industry. After a nine month period of study and projects, learners will be able to demonstrate a considerable grasp of design tools and develop a design portfolio with a minimum of 3 capstone projects.

Apart from a comprehensive UI/UX design curriculum, Springboard offers every learner:

  • Weekly 1:1 calls with a dedicated industry expert mentor
  • Capstone projects to add to their design portfolios
  • Dedicated career coaches and mock interviews for competitive design jobs
  • A job guarantee or their tuition fee refunded on failure to obtain a job within a period of 6 months

More details about the program can be found here.
LinkedIn report found that UI/UX design is one of the top ten hard skills in demand for 2020, making human centred design emerge as one of the top five job areas over the next five years.
