Play games and learn the Playablo way!

Bangalore, July 20, 2017: Playablo, a Bangalore-based startup that provides  gamified learning and skill assessment platform for CBSE and ICSE students of grades 1 to 5, has tied up with Unnati, a Bangalore-based NGO  to help re-skill young adults.
Its aim is to empower youngsters from tier 2 and tier 3 cities as well as those studying in native language schools to become job-ready. Playablo will focus on advancing key skills such as spoken English that are essential for a career in the corporate environment. It does so by using an amalgamation of technology and game play elements to enhance learning.
As a part of the initiative’s first step, Playablo in association with Unnati will train 5000 of their students across the country on their spoken English skills. The learning would happen using the Ed-Tech company’s recently launched learning platform specifically focused towards skill development of underprivileged youth via android app and web.
Says Dheeraj Sharma, founder and CEO of Playablo: “Although India has a great education system, there are far too many youngsters who do not have access to it. When these youngsters join the workforce, they are unable to reach their full potential. They neither have the social skills nor the communication skills to grow in a career. This is a potential crisis that our nation is facing. At Playablo, we have always believed in making a true difference in the way our youngsters learn. So far, we have had many instances where parents have praised Playablo for making learning fun and effective for their children. We believe that we can leverage this platform to truly make a difference in the lives of youngsters who are struggling to become employable.”
Playablo is a gamified skill assessment app (available on android mobiles, tabs and the web) that combines short quizzes with elements of game play like badges, leaderboards and challenges to make learning fun as well as engaging for the learner. Playablo’s content is designed by experts from the fields of learning, education, technology and design, and can be customized for virtually any learning requirement. It also features a robust reporting system that provides specific actionable insights to teachers and facilitators. The instant feedback that Playablo provides lets them know the strengths and weaknesses of the learners, based on which they can provide the right learning intervention.  More details and link to Google app here
