Google doodle salutes  end of Indian election process

May 16 2014: It's D Day for  Indian voters who  have gone through a long and arduous process to elect their new government. Today is the day when counting begins and ends  -- all in some 5 hours.

Does that D in Day Day  stand for Google's Doodle?  The search engine leader has blown up its logo this morning in India editions and converted  the 'l' in Google into the proud symbol of an Indian finger carrying the mark of a voter.  The  world's largest democratic elections end this Friday and like Google, the world watches and salutes ...
