Vistara opts for Amadeus' Altea solutions to fuel  key operations

December 10 2014: The Tata Sons - Singapore Airlines’ Indian joint venture Vistara,  which is expected to get  its licence to fly any day now,  will be the first  India-based carrier to  harness  the Amadeus Altéa suite of technology solutions. 
The  tech tools will power the airline’s travel reservations, inventory management, airport departure control systems and revenue accounting and  management activities. 
Vistara,  will also deploy  Amadeus’s e-commerce and loyalty solutions to drive online bookings and optimise it frequent flyer programme. 
 Amadeus expects   that its Altea tools will help Vistara manage around 1 billion  passengers by 2017.
