Healthcare, a key concern in Indian Big Data context: Simplify 360 study

Bangalore, August 5 2014: Simplify360, the world’s first integrated enterprise solutions provider with operations in  Bangalore -- and Texas(US) --  did a study recently on  study and finding out more on how big data is being discussed and how its applications are creating an impact in the different spheres  of our lives.  
The study threw up some interesting results: healthcare loomed large as the most talked about along with Big Data and India is a hot second to the US in healthcare concerns.
Here are the other messages from from  Simplify 360's Social media analysis on Big Data July, 2014
They found that discussion around analytics, cloud, internet of things and data management were talked the most with the big data.  People mostly mentioned companies like IBM, Oracle and Apple when they talk on Big Data and Technologies like Oracle, Hadoop, Cloud and SQL were talked the most Big data applications on Health care industry had higher mentions followed by sports and Financial Institutions/markets .  People from United states were more interested in talking about Big data; There are significant number of mentions from India

Methodology Simplify360’s proprietary listening tool is used for collecting the data and counting the number of mentions for each company. A total of 194K social media conversations analyzed in July. Geography considered: Global Period of analysis: July 10 to July 24, 2014
