March 21 2020: Satiating the millennial hunger for casual gaming, smart phone brands are doing what they can to woo the ones that believe in work and play in equal proportions. The Realme 6 comes with a MediaTek G90T SoC, which seems to the 2020 favourite for gaming performance. The brand claims that the combination of  a 30W flash charger and a 12nm processor provides a seamless and long-lasting gaming experience. With AI, a state-of-the-art GPU and a flagship CPU thrown in, the gaming performance is lag-free and immersive. Adding to the experience is the 90 Hz screen refresh rate which makes swipes and button response faster and smoother. With a 4300 mAh battery and a 64 MP primary quad camera, which includes a macro and a monochrome lens, the Realme 6 comes with its own camera embellishments, making it not just a gaming phone, but a mid-range all-rounder. The device is priced at Rs. 12,999 (4 GB + 64 GB), Rs. 14, 999 (6 GB + 128 GB) and Rs. 15,999 (8 GB + 128 GB).
The new range from Realme also includes the Realme 6 Pro, which is the first ever device that is powered by the Snapdragon 720G processor. In comparison to the Realme 6, this one boasts of superior photography capabilities, thanks to its quad camera primary setup that includes a 64 MP main lens, a 12 MP hybrid 20x zoom lens, an 8 MP ultra wide angle lens and a 2 MP macro lens. Along with the 16 MP front camera, the Realme 6 comes with a special tripod mode, a the third generation of the brand's nightscape mode, and AI driven face recognition and edge deformity correction. The design inspiration for this device, like most Realme devices is different from run-of-the-mill phones, This time around, it is inspired by blue lightning penetrating the cloud and orange lightning rolling up in a sandstorm.
