OnePlus 5T features enhancements to its earlier offering

Bangalore  November 27 2017: OnePlus 5, launched in India a few months ago, went on to become one of the more popular flagship phones of 2017. With its dual-lens back camera, sleek form factor and fast fingerprint scanning, the device became an aspirational choice for most professional smart phone users. To cash in on the popularity of the OnePlus 5, the company decided to launch a sequel -- the OnePlus 5T -- with a few interesting enhancements.
One is the  6-inch Full Optic AMOLED Display with an 18:9 aspect ratio in a form factor  same as the OnePlus 5. So you get a slightly bigger and better display without compromising  size and style. An increased aspect ratio means a wider viewing angle and with software enhancements that facilitates better low light viewing.
The fingerprint sensor is marginally faster than its predecessor, but it has moved to the back, so migrants from 5 to 5T would be slightly challenged by  this sudden change. To compensate for this, the OnePlus 5T comes with Face Unlock, which allows you to unlock your device by staring into it. OnePlus' Oxygen OS claims to use around 100 identifiers to quickly recognize you and unlock your device.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, the 5T comes with enhanced dash charge and a 16 MP + 20 MP dual lens camera configuration. Available in two memory variants, the devices are priced at Rs. 32,999 (64 GB) and Rs. 37,999 (128 GB).  The 5T is a good choice, in case you have missed the OnePlus 5. The devices are currently available  through Amazon and across OnePlus stores across the country.    VISHNU ANAND
