Bangalore, Febgruary 4 2017: Epson's  WorkForce WF-100  portable printer  is a  marvel of  miniaturization: A colour inkjet  printer   for A4  paper or 4-by-6 photo paper that weighs just 1.6 kg and  fits neatly into a  shoulder bag along with  your  laptop. This is a wireless printer which works with WiFi as well as the new WiFi Direct standard  -- which means it  does not require a router and can print directly from an Android phone or tablet. The  rechargeable battery  is  rated to print  100 monochrome or 50 colour pages on a full charge.
It takes the old style 2-cartridge pack, one for black, the other for colour...not quite as economical as today's tank systems, but that is the price of portability. Print speed is reasonable --  between 3 and 6 pages a minute. And so the price-- Rs 20,999 -- considering the convenience.  Hot shot executives  impress clients in new ways: deliver that presentation, then print and  distribute a hard copy handouts  immediately. Deal clinched!
