Huawei Honor C is the Vanilla Sundae of phones
Huawei Honor C phone comes to India

If the Honor 5C was an ice cream, it would be one tasty combo of simplicity and budget pricing
Bangalore, June 26 2016:“When the going gets tough, the tough get going” is an apt saying for today’s smart phone market. With competition getting stiff day-by-day, every other manufacturer is trying to find a niche proposition by offering more and more unique features. Some are sprucing up the RAM that might give your laptop or desktop a complex; Some have camera qualities that will make you throw away your DSLRs, battery life that will last an entire Himalayan trek… the list goes on.  And then comes along a smart phone that tries to strike a balance of specs and caters to the needs of those who want their device to be simple yet sophisticated. We think that the recently launched Huawei Honor 5C strikes the balance perfectly.
One of the striking features of this smart phone is its build and design. The Honor 5C comes with a brushed metal frame body with curved edges.  Weighing 156 grams, it feels quite light and has a good grip. We got our hands on the gold color variant and it looked quite elegant. The 5.2 inch screen size may seem small when compared to other devices in the market with standard 5.5 inch or above, but we felt that it was easy to use even with one hand.  The display is crystal clear with the IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution.
The Honor 5C runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow and powered by 64-bit Kirin 650 octa-core processor with 2 GB RAM. Performance wise it was able to run smoothly without any lags and delays.
The 13 megapixels rear and 8 megapixels front camera were able to produce some decent pictures with good sharpness and clarity. Even the low light pictures were visibly bright with the rear camera. We felt that the camera operations were so quick, that sometimes few pictures got captured unknowingly.
The device comes with a finger print sensor at the rear, which was to easy to set up and quick to recognize. This 4G phone comes with a dual SIM  slot, which also has an integrated microSD card slot. The internal memory of 16 GB is expandable up to 128 GB. It sports a 3000mAh non removable battery, which give you a decent life of up to one day.
Priced at  Rs 10,999, the Honor 5C is a pocket-friendly device that does not have fancy frills but compromise on features or performance either. It will be available in India from June  30, through Flipkart and at Honor stores. V Sudhakshina
