From the stables of Micromax, Yu launches its Android flagship
Bangalore, June 6 2016: Every time a new smart phone is released in the market the first thing we tend to ask , 'so what’s new?'  With the recently released Yunicorn by YU Televentures, a Micromax subsidy, the answer is 'everything'.  From its build to the software features, Yunicorn looks and feels different from  its predecessors.
Yunicorn is the first device from YU’s kitty to have a full metal body.  With curved edges with matte finish this smart phone has got the looks. Weighing 173 grams, it isn’t the lightest device, but Yunicorn gets full marks for its sturdy yet chic design. The 5.5 inch Full HD screen with 1920x1080 resolutions is sharp and vibrant. YU has added a monochrome feature to its display, which goes easy on eyes and is helpful for those who like to read from their smart phones.
For the first time YU has dropped the Cynogen OS for Android Lollipop 5.1.1  and released a new launcher called ‘Android on Steroids’, which offers a  few customization options. The ‘Around YU’ service has been upgraded with new tie-ups with Lybrate for health services and the native wallet, Udio. Will these additions the Yunicorn gets an all new UI, which is  intuitive and user friendly.
Yunicorn sports a 13 megapixels rear and a 5 megapixels front camera.  It runs on MediaTek’s new Helio P10 octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM. The 32 GB internal storage is expandable upto 128 GB via its hybrid slot for SD card.  With 4000 mAh,  Yunicorn  offers a good  battery life to support its powerful performance.
