 M 330 & M 350... twin phone launches from InFocus

InFocus has launched two Android smart phones – with slight variations in specs and design

June 30  2015: When a leading projection and display technologies brand decides to make its foray into smart phones, it's USP will be camera performance. The US-based InFocus has recently launched a range of Android smart phones in India  around the Rs. 10,000 mark. Two of them -- the M330 and the M350 – are similar in specs but vary in design.
Considering the number of candy crush saga invites floating around on Facebook, we can understand that most smart phone users spend considerable time playing games. With its Octa-core 1.7GHz processor with 700MHz Mali-450 GPU, the InFocus M330 promises  jitter- gaming . Unlike other smart phone manufacturers who beef up the primary camera usually at the expense of the secondary camera resolution, InFocus has decided to give you a rather good 8 MP front camera, with image editing features like beauty shot, photo enhancer, smile auto selfie shot detector among others. The primary camera is a good 13 MP.

The M330 has a plastic body nestled in an aluminum frame. Weighing 170 grams with a 5.5 inches screen size, the device comes with a 1280×720 HD Capacitive touch screen and an IPS LCD display that produces smooth and clear images. Running on Android KitKat, the InFocus M330 comes with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB ROM, which is expandable up to 64 GB. Priced at Rs. 9,499, the M330 is a good buy if great  pictures define your life.

The InFocus M350 – the M330’s younger brother of sorts – comes with a Quad-core 5GHz processor, with identical specs as the M330, except that its battery cannot be removed, and it comes with a 2500mAH, as against the elder brother’s 3100mAH battery. Both smart phones come preloaded with Android KitKat. Strangely, the 350 is 4G ready while the 330 is not, though both devices are dual SIM phones. Priced at Rs. 7,999, the M350 is scores slightly higher on design with its curvy smooth edges, and 4G readiness.
