Delhi, February 22 2014: Dilip Modi is the new Chairman of S Mobility Ltd., (formerly Spice Mobility ).
He was Chairman of Si2i Limited, a Company listed & Headquartered in Singapore and also a Director of S Mobility.
Dilip Modi built India’s first mobile network company, Modi Telstra, in collaboration with Telstra from Australia and rose to become the Chairman of the company in year 1999. He also led the public listing of Spice Communication Ltd on the Indian stock exchange in the year 2007.
Over the last five years, Dilip has been focused on building next generation technology businesses in India around smart devices, technology retailing, mobile applications, online education and commerce. Dilip is also a prominent figure in the telecom industry , having been the youngest ever president of ASSOCHAM(Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry) and the COAI (Cellular Operators Association of India).
