PVG Menon moves on from IESA after 3 year stint as President

Bangaloe, February 17 2014: PV G Menon is to step down as President of the The India Electronics & Semiconductor Association (IESA), come  end March  2014, after a 3 year stint. The premier trade body, representing the Indian Electronic Systems Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) has announced formation of a Search Committee to look for a new President.
Says IESA Chairman  Sanjeev Keskar: “Mr. PVG Menon has contributed immensely to the further advancement of IESA’s goals and mission during his brief and impactful tenure as President. We shall miss his dynamic leadership, and wish him all the very best for his future endeavours.”
Adds PVG: “It has indeed been a privilege to lead the IESA through the transition from a pure-play semiconductor and embedded systems body, to embracing the larger goal of providing leadership to the electronic systems industry. I’m glad to have been given the opportunity to transform the organization and make it more broad-based and relevant to the industry. I am confident that IESA is very well placed to scale even greater heights with it’s dedicated and dynamic team.”
PVG Menon has over 23 years of experience in the Indian IT industry. He has rich experience in development, marketing and management of technology, and has worked with leading companies like Philips (later NXP) Semiconductors and Analog Devices - where he has built multi-million dollar global businesses. He has also worked with companies like Siemens Information Systems Ltd. and CMC Ltd. in development and project management roles. He has also been part of two start-ups. Menon established VANN Consulting, a strategic management consulting company, in early 2007. He has carried out several strategy consulting and marketing assignments for various companies in the software, embedded systems and semiconductor space.
