Ranga Puranik is Persistent Systems President

Pune, India and Santa Clara, CA – November 19, 2013: Ranga Puranik  is the new President of India and US-based leader in software product and technology services Persistent Systems . He will serve as the head of the company’s U.S. entity and lead the company’s sales and marketing efforts globally.

Puranik has been Executive Vice President of New Initiatives at Persistent Systems for over three years, and has been instrumental in the development and execution of the company’s growth strategyHe  brings with him strong global experience in software, telecom, enterprise product development and sales, having worked at GE, Motorola and Sasken in leadership roles over the past 20 years. During the last three years, Mr. Puranik has been leading the company’s platform solutions business which has been a key entry strategy into the enterprise market.

Puranik holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, Chicago and a Bachelor of Engineering - Electronics & Communication from Karnatak University.
