New Delhi,  November 6, 2013: Amar Babu is  the new President  of MAIT, the apex body representing India’s IT hardware, training and R&D services sectors, while Debjani Ghosh is the Vice President. Amar  is Managing Director, Lenovo India while  Debjani  is  Managing Director (Sales & Marketing), Intel South Asia.

A Management Post Graduate from XLRI, Jamshedpur, Amar Babu holds an Engineering degree in Electrical & Electronics from PSG Tech, Coimbatore. He has over 17 years of experience with more than 10 years in various leadership roles. He was serving as the Vice- President of MAIT for 2012- 13.

Debjani Ghosh has been the Managing Director of Sales and Marketing Operations for South Asia at Intel Technology India Pvt. Ltd. since January 1, 2012. Ms. Ghosh served as Chief Executive Officer of Intel Malaysia and Director of Intel Groups Southeast Asia at Intel Corporation. Ms. Ghosh served as Director of Sales and Marketing for Southeast Asia at Intel Technology India Pvt. Ltd. until December 2011. She has been with Intel for 18 years.
