Bangalore,  September 5, 2013 — Murli Mohan  is the new General Manager for  Dell's  Software business in India. He will be responsible for leading the Software portfolio and driving growth for Dell’s India market.

The Dell Software portfolio addresses five key areas of customer needs: data center and cloud management, information management, mobile workforce management, security and data protection.

Says Alok Ohrie, President and Managing Director, Dell India:  “Murli’s deep understanding of the India market coupled with his track record in building high performance sales and business operations teams in complex business environments will clearly create the right platform for growth in our India business.”

Previously, Murli led high impact software business environments like IBM and Wipro. He has been an integral part of the IBM India Leadership Team as they transformed their software business in India.  In his most recent assignment, he served as the CEO of Maestros Mediline Systems Limited, a growing publicly listed medical diagnostics and telemedicine company in India serving the Indian and export markets.
