Silicon Valley veteran, Shirish Andhare to  head Narus' operations in India

Bangalore, July 26 2013: Shirish Andhare has been named the general manager of India operations for big data analytics leader, Narus, Inc.Based out of Narus' Bangalore centre, Shirish, a Silicon Valley veteran with global experience in telecommunications, mobile and Web services he will play a key leadership role in driving company business initiatives as Narus continues to expand into new markets around the world.

Shirish most recently served as vice president of emerging business at BroadSoft, where he spearheaded a third-party applications marketplace for telecommunications service providers. Previous to BroadSoft, he was vice president of product and corporate marketing at Sylantro Systems, where he positioned the Silicon Valley company as a global pioneer in Web 2.0-based telecommunications Web services. 

Shirishholds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, a master's degree in computer engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a master's in management sciences from Stanford University.
