From Santa Ana to Pune... STEC's new innovation centre

Pune in Maharashtra state is to host the new Storage Technology Innovation Centre of STEC, the leading, Santa Ana (California)-based global provider of solid-state drive (SSD) technologies and products. The design centre  formally opened on September 5, will provide STEC with additional storage software development resources for such products as its recently announced Enhance IO  SSD Cache Software, as well as next-generation solutions from early proof of concept through product development and productization.

The centre includes a state-of-the-art test and research lab. STEC plans to strategically utilize its Storage Technology Innovation Centre and software development team to create software products which are complementary to its already extensive enterprise-class solid-state portfolio.
