Shail Shah, Director of Jash Energy; Gail Chen, General Manager of East Asia and India at Arctech, Director and CEO of Jash Energy; Amit Herekar, Senior Sales Manager at Arctech, and Ganesh Rai, Head of Technical Sales at Arctech  spoke on Jash Energy will bring to the regional solar industry as the first factory dedicated to the solar tracker in the country, the advanced technology of the Arctech’s solar tracking and racking solutions and Arctech’s white-glove customer services empowering clients throughout the full lifecycle of tracker systems.
The company also celebrated its historical shipment momentum in the region reaching 3.5GW recently. “Arctech has always seen the Indian market as our second home base. We have shipped more than 3.5GW of tracking and racking products to India in the last few years. By having this local production plant, we can guarantee a shorter delivery timeline, quicker response to needs, and most of all, a more competitive pricing strategy. We believe the JV factory will bring more benefits to our customers” said Gail Chen, General Manager of East Asia and India at Arctech, Director and CEO of Jash Energy.
“One of the major challenges during the solar plant construction is the global disruption of the supply chain due to COVID-19. As a result, the costs of steel, cement, and other materials drastically increased. Hence, completing the project on time and without cost overrun was the biggest challenge that we faced. I am glad we finally overcome it with the set-up of the JV factory.” said Shail Shah, Director of Jash Energy
