January 26 2022: The Indian government has  honoured Indian-origin heads of  three  global  information technology companies with the Padma Bhushan award today.
They are Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, and Alphabet CEO Sundar Piichai. Both Nadella and Pichai are  India-born,  US citizens.
