10Times helps organise first ever virtual F&B show in India

May 14, 2020: 10Times, the world’s largest business events discovery platform  has been harnessed to drive India’s first ever  virtual Food & Beverages  Tradeshow and conference.
The first-of-its-kind digital event is yet another way enterprises have worked around the restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 lockdown physical engagements networking avenues for businesses. Leveraging its video conferencing solution, FLOOR, it  allowed over  100 exhibitors to virtually meet and engage with 3000 participants across India.  
FLOOR, recreated the experience of an in-person event by providing a welcome reception to a networking lounge. Visitors got an opportunity to listen to renowned speakers on the stage, while jumping in-and-out of meeting with exhibitors in their private booths. The most popular feature of this the tradeshow could grab a table with fellow colleagues from the industry and virtual platform appeared to be its networking round tables. Anyone attending start a discussion. Exhibitors were seen talking to groups of potential customers on these networking tables. 
Virtual attendees  got an opportunity to listen to a line-up of speakers, from big food companies like CG Group to young upcoming food brands. Tough questions were also posed to Food Tech companies like Dineout on the way forward. The event opened with a keynote by Kriti Malhotra, India’s first lady certified sommelier and a top 10 change maker women of the country by CNBC. It was followed by a powerful discussion with Vivek Kapoor, Co-founder of Dineout. 
Said Atul Todi, CEO & Co-founder, 10times: “We hosted the first Virtual Tradeshow as a challenge. We wanted to show that business can happen virtually and we can bring people together. Organisers were not convinced and wanted a proof-of-concept. Therefore, this event was put together as a way for them to visualise how they can incorporate virtual & hybrid event in their future plans.”
