May 9 2020: JIO  has announced a new  data plan specifically tailored for Work From Home environment.
The plan costs Rs 2399 and gives  one year of unlimited voice and SMS plus 2 GB per day of data.  This is about 1/3rd more value for money than the existing  annual plan of Rs 2121 for 1.5 GB daily
It has also announced  new add-on data packs with no daily cap on data. It can be used when ever data in the main plan runs out. It is available at  Rs 151 for 30 GB,  Rs 201 for 40 GB and Rs 251 for 50 GB. Validity will be same as the main data plan.
