Live Quiz apps are the new online online craze

August 26 208: From being live on the Facebook, Instagram or Snapchat, netizens are now exploring a new kind of live platform ‘live quiz apps’. These platforms bring live quiz shows daily for their fans and lets them win money everyday by answering simple questions on various categories such as Bollywood, trivia, general knowledge and sports. To keep their audience engaged they invite popular celebrities to host live quiz shows and interact with their users on daily basis.
LiveMe,  is a live broadcasting app and streaming platform, developed and launched by Cheetah Mobile, the makers of popular utility apps such as Clean Master, CM Security and Battery Doctor. It allows users to communicate with each other  live through real-time video broadcasting amplified by an assortment of features such as interactive stickers, face-mapping technology and exchange of digital gifts such as unique emoticons. It allows users to share their favourite broadcasts or live events happening near them directly with their friends via various popular social apps.
LiveMe’s Quizbiz has been developed by Cheetah Mobiles (known for popular utility apps like Clean Master, CM Security and Battery Doctor) and is available for playing on Live.me (a live broadcasting app). The quiz is held daily at 9 pm and the cash prize ranges between $200 and $10,000; on weekends, the show is hosted by popular celebrities like TV actor Gaurav Gera. The prize money is credited to users’ PayPal accounts or in the form of LiveMe coins, which can be utilised for consuming other entertainment on the LiveMe app. People can also share the game with their friends on other social media platforms- Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram etc.

Some of the Quiz apps that are gaining popularity are:-
Loco Quiz- The format of Loco is simple: It invites users to play a quiz in real time and lets them earn “real cash” if they answer all 10 questions correctly. The quiz takes place twice (1:30 pm and 10 pm) on weekdays, and once (10 pm) on weekends. The amount you win is credited to your Paytm account on a weekly basis.
Bigo Live’s OMG QUIZ- BIGO LIVE, a Singapore-based popular live video streaming application and UC News, a news and content aggregation platform by the Alibaba Mobile Business Group, collaborated in March, for the first time to launch OMG QUIZ in India. "OMG Quiz" runs on BIGO LIVE App everyday 9 PM onwards on weekdays and 1 PM and 9 PM onwards on Weekends.
Brain Bazzi- Times Internet- backed BrainBaazi, has notched up five million downloads on Android in less than six months. The BrainBaazi quiz takes place every weekday at 1 pm and 9 pm, and at 9 pm only on weekends. The winning amount is credited to the users’ Paytm or Mobikwik accounts.
