New Delhi, July 19 , 2018:  There is still a huge market for mobile phones at  whatr marketing guru the late  CK Prahlad  famously called the 'bottom of the pyramid'.
A young telecom product company, Technosoft, this week launched 4  handsets in the price range of Rs 600 to 1120 ( US$ 8.5 to $ 16).  The Indano  brand phones are completely made in India.
The four models are: iE1 (Rs 600), iE2 ((Rs 600), i10 ( Rs 999) and the i20 ( Rs 1120).
The two models of the initial range have been designed by winner of the world‘s top ten design awards, Martin Mei.  While,  handsets in India genberally come with 365 days replacement warranty, Iddano also offers 8 months warranty on the mobile charger  - an industry first.  The company also offer a buy back after two years
Says  Indano CEO Shreeman Naryan: "Following the passion of our moto “change is the only constant', we have planned to capture 1% market share (Feature and Smart Phones together) in mobile industry by 2018-19."
Indano  has planned the launch pan  India  launch operation in two phases. The first phase is to start with feature phone segment markets and then move to smart phone markets in the very next phase.
