Windows 10 Creators update being rolled out

October 25 2017: Microsoft has announced Windows 10 Fall Creators Update to more than 500 million devices running on Windows 10 globally. The 4th major update for Windows 10 is being offered progressively to all   redgistered users.
The Top Ten new features are:
1. Battery life improvements: With the new update, you will be able to get every ounce of battery life out of your PC. Stream movies online 2.5% longer and watch videos offline up to 5% longer with the Movies & TV app. Microsoft Edge has brought a 17% improvement in battery life as well!

2. Performance improvements: Whether you want to work or play, the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update ensures a faster device with quicker responses. You will be able to boot up your device 13% faster and logging in after the boot is 18% faster. Microsoft Edge is up to 53% faster, ensuring quicker interaction and website rendering. Updating to the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update also ensures an 18% reduction in hitting certain system stability issues. This update has also resulted in a 39% total reduction in operating system and driver stability issues.

3. More secure: The Windows 10 Fall Creators Update adds a new layer of security to your device that will track emerging and changing trends in malware and viruses. You will receive a monthly quality update with the latest security updates.

4. Improved Windows Inking: Windows Inking will now let you ink directly onto PDFs. This will make it easier and faster to comment and share with others. As Smart Ink applies artificial intelligence, you will be able to draw squares perfectly and it will also turn boxes into a table for you.

5. OneDrive Files On-Demand: Save all your creations easily in OneDrive Files On-Demand. The Windows 10 Fall Creators Update will allow you to access your cloud files the way you access other files on your PC but won’t use up your local storage space.

 6. Your memories, reimagined: The reimagined Photos Application will deliver remixed experiences, giving you the chance to tell your stories with photos, videos, music, 3D, and inking as well!

7. Better gaming experience: The updated Game Mode in Windows 10 Fall Creators Update will allow your games to use the full processing power of your device. You can take advantage of this power to play Xbox Play Anywhere games.

8. Greater accessibility with eye control: Windows is now more accessible for those who with Lou Gehrig’s disease, a progressive neurodegenerative disease.
