Oppo, the Chinese smart-phone manufacturer, who is known for launching selfie-centric devices in India, recently announced a limited Diwali edition of its F3 range. It
Keeping in mind the bright and colourful nature of Indian festivals, the new F3 variant is clad in a red. At the starting of this year Apple was the first to introduce the Red iPhone 7, which has been discontinued after the launch of iPhone 8.
Speaking at the launch event Will Yang, Brand Director, OPPO India said, “Diwali is a festival that brings together loved ones under one roof and gives them an opportunity to bond. This customized red phone, a color that signifies the auspicious festivities, aims to help our consumers click perfect moments with their families and make this a preferred Diwali gift.”
Apart from having a glossy, metallic rear in red, the F3 will also come with a customized Diwali elements theme. The 5.5-inch device supports dual lens front cameras, 16 megapixels lens for regular selfie and one wide angle lens group selfie. It runs on a ColorOS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is powered by a 1.5 GHz MediaTek processor with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. The phone has a 3200 mAh battery.
At Rs.18, 990, the F3 Red is priced thousand rupees more than the original F3 variants. The device will be available from 29th September 2017 on Amazon and in Oppo offline stores across India. Also, every customer who will purchase the F3 Diwali Limited Edition would get an exclusive cricket bat signed by the Indian cricket team.
