The finalists were selected from a slate of 24.
The innovators in alphabetical order are:

Dhristhi Soft ( www.drishti-soft.com/ ), Gurgaon, a leading provider of Contact Center Software and Enterprise Communications for DACX Ameyo, an all-in-one suite for businesses to manage their workforce, departments, customers, processes and performance parameters.
IndiaGames ( www.indiagames.com ) Mumbai, India's largest games creator, for its Online Gaming Evangelization process.
Intel India, ( www.intel.com), Bangalore, for the development in India of the world's first 6-core processor, code named Dunnington.
Kriitikal SecureScan (www.kritikalsecurescan.com ) Noida, for VehiScanT, a system for realtime vehicle licence plate recognition in non standard environments.
MobME Wireless ( http//www.mobme.in/) a Bangalore and Kochi startup, for a platform to enable sharing of pictures taken on a camera phone on a social network.
Persistent Systems (www.persistentsys.com/ ) Pune, for a data processing solution using RF tracking, hand held mobile devices, to improve the accuracy of data collection, and productivity in real time.
Sloka Telecom ( www.sloka.in ) another Bangalore startup, for inexpensive and compact base stations for fixed and mobile WIMAX and 3G LTE .
The entries were judged in 4 categories ( 2 winners each): market facing innovation -- new technology or business model/processes; business innovation and startups. The 8 innovative companies will be honoured during NASSCOM's Leadership Forum in Mumbai, Feb 11-13.
