A Chinese  David takes on Goliaths,  Samsung and iPhone

October 2 2015: Chinese internet conglomerate company LETV,  known to be a  contemplating  entering the India market, has just chalked  up   a record on its home ground, beating both  iPhone and Samsung for online high-end ( ie $472 or more per  unit ) smart phone sales for two months in a row.
It did this riding on the success of its flagship phone LE Max in July, says Sino Market Research.

Overall in August, LETV ranked No.5,  taking 4.5% online smart phone market by selling 427,000 smart phones, including LE 1, LE 1Pro and the flagship Le Max. And its premier phone, LE Max, is the online sales champion, outstripping iPhone and Samsung, for high-end market. 
LETV is  perceived to be a disruptive market changer introducing  high performance phones at  affordable prices
