April 14 2015: Google's India edition doodle remembers   Indiqan social reformer and  constitional architect, B R Ambedkar on his  124th birthday today.

In an editorial -page piece entitled  A nation builder's pride of place in The Hindu ,  Supreme Court lawyer Sanjay Hegde says :  He may not have been a hero of the war of Indian independence, but he is the hero who built an independent India. The paper also has a main editorial on the Ambedkar legacy.
